Elaborate is a simple question game that allows players the opportunity to get to know each other better. It also allows people to talk about
themselves, which most of us love to do. We just don't admit it. It is anicebreaker and the perfect teen
and adult party game for just about any occasion .
It's easy to play and you will be amazed at the things you will learn about other people and yourself.
" We were playing the game at our family Christmas dinner and my very shy 11 year old nephew received the question: No one knows this about me... He told us all about what his house was going to look like, the kind of job he was going to have the car he was going to drive, We sat there in amazement of this normally very reserved child with such big dreams!"

"A bunch of teacher friends and I were at the beach for a retreat and Susan picked the question: I was so amazed when... She told us when she was a little girl she was playing in her grandparents bedroom and went into the closet and found a KKK robe hanging in the back."

"My 3rd graders love to play this game. I use it as a reward when they finish their work. When I read the question Have you ever stolen anything, their little hands went up and they all wanted a chance to tell. Those little thieves!"

Each stick, colorfully designed by the artist (me) has 2 different questions. The best size group to play with is from 4-6 people because you will soon learn that there are some questions everyone wants to answer. Ideally only one person chooses a stick at a time so others do not get distracted looking at their question. The idea is to stimulate conversation on what ever question is asked, and BOY does it!
The player can choose to answer both questions or pass the tube to the next person. You will be amazed at the conversation that ensues. It is really like time travel. We get to think about things we haven't thought about in a long time like: The first time I felt powerful.. or I miss this from high school/college... and it sure beats the current "flavor of the month" story concerning politics, wayward movie stars or who might or might not be going to heaven.
